OHC is connected but do not respond
« on: May 22, 2013, 11:31:29 AM »
Hi, everything was working well, but suddendly the OHC do not respond anymore.

The KiloBot Controller says that the OHC is connected but no command is working (for instance Toggle LEDs is not working)

I tried to reprogram the firmware of the OHC using AVR studio with controller.hex file but the programming failed. Here is the log of AVR studio :

Getting isp parmater.. SD=0x06 .. OKOK
Reading FLASH input file.. OK
Setting mode and device parameters.. OK
Entering programming mode.. FAILED
Leaving programmine mode.. FAILED

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,

have you correctly configured the jumper on the OHC? It must be on normal mode configuration.

In AVR studio, could you please try to read the signature of the microcontroller, to see if it is still recognize?
And finally check in your hardware manager if the AVR isp MKII is still recognize.

Maybe you will need to send back the OHC for repair.
Best regards

Yes, the jumper is in normal mode configuration. The AVRISP mkII is also well recognized (driver from Jungo, version 10.1.1.0,  date 02/09/2009)

When reading the signature with AVR studio, I get :

Setting mode and device parameters.. OK
Entering programming mode.. FAILED
Leaving programming mode.. FAILED

Signature 0x00 0x00 0x00
WARNING: Signature does not match selected device!

Please contact info(at)k-team.com for more information about the procedure.
