« Last post by pedroosi on August 14, 2017, 11:44:45 AM »
Hello

I am a university student and I am working with khepera III robot.
I need to define this robot in the Morse simulator.
Has anyone already done this?
Is there any place where I can download the configuration for the morse simulator?

Thank you

Kilobot / Re: OHC Resetting

Have you tried to reflash the OHC using AVRstudio? Normally it solve the problem of corrupted Flash.

But, in your case, if the device manager did not find the AVRispII on the OHC, you won't be able to reflash it.

Try again with AVRstudio, if it doesn't solve the problem, please contact K-Team and return the OHC for repair.

The drivers were installed and working, in fact I was able to flash the OHC successfully. Only after the failure to flash the Kilobot did it start to behave this way, and no changes were made to Windows. It was literally a few seconds between unplugging the OHC to plugging it in again.

I tried a new Win7 machine as per your instructions, however as the OHC is in some weird mode, so it is not possible to connect to it as per step 2.

As soon as I plug in the OHC, the lights appear as in my video. The 2 read lights are permanently on, and the green ones flashing. Device Manger is refreshing every 4 seconds. Usually when Device Manager refreshes it's because it detects a new device. In this case, as it refreshes every 4 seconds, it detects the OHC then loses it, detects it, loses it etc. so I presume the OHC is restarting.

What else can I try?

Hello,

you have certainly not correctly change the driver with Zadig. Please refer to our procedure to update the Kilobot here:

Kilobot / OHC Resetting
« Last post by Dasto on May 29, 2017, 12:56:48 PM »
Hello!

I managed to flash my OHC with the latest controller.hex file, as per the instructions [1]. Then I proceeded to flash the first Kilobot with the latest bootloader.hex. The Kilobot flashed green and vibrated then seemed to get stuck. After quite some time I disconnected the Kilobot and it now just sits there blinking green rapidly.

Meanwhile, the OHC is rebooting and I am unable to flash it (see video) [2]. If you can't see the video, what is happening is that one of the green LED's on the OHC flashes every four seconds, and the OHC is re-detected in Device Manager.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Daniel

Khepera IV / Re: Khepera IV front camera only outputs 1 to 2 fps
« Last post by kteam on May 29, 2017, 09:54:12 AM »
Hi,

you can increase the fps by lower the size of the image.
At the full scale, the Gumstix cannot cannot stream more data than 1 or 2 fps.

Khepera IV / Re: Cannot charge Khepera IV with contact pads
« Last post by kteam on May 29, 2017, 09:53:07 AM »
Hi,

which voltage did you apply to the PAD? it must not be lower than 9V to work correctly (as the battery has a 8.4V voltage at the end of charge).
You can set your power supply to 9.5V to be sure (even 10V).

Actually the external power supply provided with the Robot, deliver 9.3V to compensate the voltage drop in the cable at full load.

Khepera IV / Khepera IV front camera only outputs 1 to 2 fps
« Last post by chrisb27 on May 24, 2017, 10:06:23 PM »
Hi,

The front camera only seems to output about 1 to 2 frames per second.

Is this a known problem, and is there a fix?

Thank you!

Chris
